In these days of isolation at home, video calls have become some of the most useful tools for staying connected with our friends, family and others we love. Applications such as Google Duo or Zoom have increased their popularity, they are not the only ones that stand out. And phone calls for WhatsApp video.
WhatsApp today is another way to make video calls more widely available around the world. The reason is simple, and because an app with so many messages is so tempting to start talking without having to do anything to convince anyone to post anything.
8 person calls and video calls on WhatsApp are reaching the globe
However, WhatsApp is lagging behind its rivals, and it makes no sense for the use of System 1 if you are finally unable to resolve the needs of group video calls. The limit of 4 WhatsApp participants has always been to some extent acceptable, but these days it has been proven to be inadequate.

On April 20, Facebook announced that it would increase the bandwidth limit on video calls to 8 people, a function of which was available in beta. After a week, it's now available to everyone, including iPhone users.
To make a call, we must follow the normal call procedure, press the key New group call and select 7 contacts that we will invite to our discussion. Once selected, we press the video call button and we'll start talking.
The 8-person video calling feature should work for you, but you may have to update the app to work. In our particular case, we have had to download the latest version of WhatsApp application in APK format on the official WhatsApp website, with version 2.20.141.
