Unless you want to play the Early Access version, it will take a while before you can reach Baldur’s Gate 3.
In an interview with Gamespot, Swen Vincke, founder of Larian Studios, said not to expect Baldur’s Gate 3 Exit Early Access this year.
On the contrary, the Larian team aims to release the game in 2022, but it is still “not guaranteed” (thanks to Blue).
“We really want to finish the game by next year,” Vincke said. “It will definitely not be released this year.”
In other words, the team is currently busy developing content for the game, which is why the Druid has been in radio silence since the arrival of Update 4. But according to Vincke, the next update is “coming soon” and it will focus on player feedback. This means it will focus more on functionality rather than content.
Since the release of the Druid update, four fixes have been applied, ranging from fixing crashes to ensuring that the loaded dice will only make RNG good for roll ing characters.
Larian made its debut in June 2019 and brought Baldur’s Gate 3 to the Steam Early Access version in October last year. If you haven’t tried the Early Access version, please understand that it’s not the “Divinity: Original Sin” in the “Dungeon and Dragon” skin, because nothing in it has been touched by Forgotten Realms, because every part of it is Completely specific to that world.
