You do not need to activate your PS Plus subscription to play Call of Duty Theater.
Hours before official launch Call of Duty Theater It was revealed yesterday that an advertisement about the Battle Royale mode was leaked on Twitch. In its fine print, it shows that WarStation requires PlayStation Plus.
It has since been revealed. As with all other free games on PS4, Call of Duty Theater does not require a PlayStation Plus membership. However, Sony and Activision will offer free bonuses to Plus subscribers when they launch later today.
