Fearing a corona virus outbreak, PAX East lost more developers and publishers.
Many developers and publishers have announced reductions in PAX East 2020, Or withdraw completely from this year's show.
CD Projekt Red's North American communications director Stephanie Bayer revealed that the studio cancelled its journey to PAX East, "Work hard to keep the team healthy."

CDPR has no plans to bring Cyberpunk 2077 to the show, so this may not affect most attendees, but the team will no longer show up at this year's show.
A few days ago, Capcom cancelled the Monster Hunter Festa: Boston 2020 event originally scheduled to be held at PAX East this weekend. Although the publisher will release the Iceborne announcement in parallel with PAX East, no personnel will be sent to the exhibition.

PUBG developer PUBG Corp. confirmed to Gamespot that it also withdrew from PAX East.
"Once the coronavirus is contained and travel is back to normal, we will replan the plan for upcoming events," said PUBG Corp ..
Prior to this, Square Enix itself announced the cancellation of the PAX East 2020 plan. Of course, Sony also decided to skip the show this year.
Sony is by far the biggest absentee, in part because platform holders have planned to bring the highly anticipated playable version of "Our Last Moment: Part Two". Sony reconsidered this decision.
East Pacific PAX is scheduled to begin tomorrow until March 1.
