Due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus, China's League of Legends professional league game was postponed indefinitely.
The second week of the LPL competition was originally scheduled for the week of February 5. However, since then, China has imposed severe restrictions on tourism and has banned large gatherings in its major cities due to the highly contagious coronavirus.
"We decided to postpone Week 2 of the LPL until we can ensure the safety and health of players and fans," LPL wrote in a tweet posted by its LLP English Twitter feed

LPL's Academy League-League of Legends Development League-was also postponed indefinitely due to the rapid spread of the virus. But it's not just professional games that are affected. Coronavirus is believed to be related to the live animal market in Wuhan, China, and has infected nearly 2,000 people, with 56 deaths confirmed to date.
