Is the Crysis 2 remake in production? Only Crytek can be sure.
The official Crysis Twitter page recently posted an interesting tweet quote Crysis 2.
Wrote in the tweet: “They used to call me the Prophet.” This of course refers to what Lawrence “Prophet” Major Barnes said in the game.
Barnes is also a role in “Crysis”. He was the commander of the Raptor team and played a role in Crysis 3 (thanks to PC Gamer).

The sequel to the first-person shooter game launched by Crytek in 2007 was released in March 2011, so it is the 10th anniversary of the game this year.
Considering that the recent “Crysis Repair Master” seems to have a poor relationship with people, it would not be surprising if “Crysis 2” was repaired.
On September 18 last year, a remake of the first game was released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and it was recently updated on a PC with DLSS support.
In April, games for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S were updated, allowing users to play games at up to 60 FPS. The update is also included for the first time on the Ascension-level console and adds the Classic Nanosuit menu.
