If at the end of last month we sent you the rumors that Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order could have a sequel, now we can confirm that it will. And it is that, as our colleagues from the portal have made known Twinfinite, Electronics Arts has confirmed at its last financial meeting that Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is the beginning of a new franchise.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

As they explain, Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, took advantage of the company's quarterly meeting to talk about Fallen Order as a success after reaching more than 10 million players and this has led them to make the decision to transform Star Wars Jedi into a franchise of their own. Unfortunately, Wilson did not give up on what the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2

or if before that long-awaited sequel arrives there will be some other title that completes the Star Wars Jedi universe.

So, for now we will have to keep waiting to discover how the new Electronic Arts franchise related to the universe created by George Lucas. What seems to be somewhat clearer is that, as we have been talking about in recent weeks, EA will put aside the Star Wars Battlefront saga for now and will focus on expanding the open universe with Fallen Order.

Of course, we still do not know if the new Star Wars game It will arrive in 2022 as the rumors point or if we will have to wait for something more to unsheathe the lightsaber. Be that as it may, we will be very aware of all the movements made by EA from now on, paying special attention to EA Play

which will take place this summer to replace E3 as there are expected to be many surprises for the future with an eye to the launch of PS5 and Xbox Series X.
