In a new edition of the regular "Letter from Producer Live", Square Enix has now announced the next major content update for the long-standing and successful MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Online. The patch will have the version number 5.2 and "Echoes of a Fallen Star" has now been given a fresh trailer, which you can see below in this message.
In the update to the current third game expansion "Shadowbringers" there are above all new orders for the main scenario, through which the story continues. Crystarium continues to search feverishly for a way to safely bring the souls of exegetes back to the world of origin.
"Eden's resonance" is a new raid that represents the second chapter of this raid series. A number of new boss fights also bring you closer to the important key person Gaia. The big patch is rounded off by a new dungeon called "Anamnesis Anyder", the new exam "Ruby Fire", new orders from the Wild Tribes as well as within the "Chronicles of the New Era" and some other smaller content.
The update to version 5.21 is already being planned, which will provide new content for collectors and artisans as part of the reconstruction of Ishgard. Update 5.25 will also feature a new series of orders to improve the "weapons of resistance".
But not only the new content was in focus, but also the fan festivals planned for 2020 and 2021. These will take place in North America, Japan and Europe and have now been given the following dates:
- November 6-7, 2020 – Fan Festival 2020 in San Diego – San Diego Convention Center
- December 19-20, 2020 – Fan Festival 2020 in Nagoya – Aichi Sky Expo
- February 20-21, 2021 – Fan Festival 2021 in London – ExCel London
In Update 5.2, Final Fantasy XIV players are expecting a number of new game content.
