The launch of the game streaming service Stadia could certainly have been better. Since then, Google has been working on it and a blog entry is now taking a look at the planned innovations in the first half of 2020.
At the start of the ambitious game streaming service Google Stadia some of the previously promised features were missing, but in the two months since the release, the makers have done some work. In the meantime, six Stadia Pro titles have been added to the game library and Typhoon Studios have become part of Stadia Games and Entertainment.
In addition, updates for the Chromecast Ultra devices, new features such as the Google Assistant or Achievements and a second Buddy Pass have been made available to owners of the Founder's Edition. But what's next? In a blog entry, the men from Google are now looking ahead to the first half of 2020.
Ten new titles are to be published exclusively or at least exclusively on Stadia in the first half of the year. Overall, there should also be noticeably more game material for those interested, because 120 titles are currently planned for 2020. Further information on the line-up should follow in the coming weeks and months.
In addition, you are also working on the features and would like to deliver the following updates in the medium term:
- 4K support when playing in the Chrome browser
- Additional Google Assistant functions while playing in the Chrome browser
- Support for additional Android smartphones
- Play wirelessly with the Stadia controller in the Chrome browser
