In the run-up to The Game Awards 2020, Focus Home had emphasized that it wanted to show Hood: Outlaws & Legends, among other things. Now there is not only a new trailer, but finally a specific release date as well.
With Hood: Outlaws & Legends, Sumo Digital has a very promising multiplayer game with PvPvE elements in the works. That means: You not only get to deal with competing real players, but also with opponents controlled by the AI. The game is to be released for PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, Xbox One and PC – and now you can also mark a specific day in red in your calendar.
On the occasion of the Game Awards it was confirmed that the release should take place on May 10, 2021. This applies at least to regular buyers from this day on, but not to pre-orderers. Those who decide early and strike before the release will get early access and can start on May 7, 2021.
In the title, two teams each consisting of four players compete against each other. You also have to prove yourself as thieves and steal your belongings from rich people in order to pass them on to the poorer class. This is where the PvE elements come into play.
There are four different characters to choose from, which you can vary in thousands of ways; so there are almost endless combinations and playing styles possible.
Incidentally, those who pre-order not only get access three days earlier, but also a package with cosmetic items. “The Forest Lords” includes a skin and a weapon for every character in the game. The new trailer is attached for you.
