When Petra Schmitz and Markus Schwerdtel started at GameStar, we were still riding on dinosaurs. Or at least the year 2000 feels like gray times, so much has changed since then. The games alone: Diablo 2, Deus Ex, The Sims, Counter-Strike 1.6 – names that sound good to this day, but also a long time ago.
Or this Internet, which was already there at the time but was not yet in every elementary school student's pocket. In 2000 GameStar.de published one article per week, which was abbreviated from the magazine.
