Years of waiting are behind us before we even know exactly what we're waiting for. Bethesda's space role-playing game Starfield was announced at E3 2018 with a short teaser, in the following two years very little information came to light.
Is there now a deal ahead? Bethesda fans are currently hoping for an announcement. The reason for this is a small change on the official website.
What has been changed? The Starfield website now contains different placeholders for age classification depending on the region. In this country, for example, a USK seal appears with the remark Rate Pending (pending classification), a PEGI logo in Great Britain and one by the ESRB in the USA.

Why is that important?
Fans on Reddit are now speculating about you possible upcoming release or at least a trailer. Like finished games, trailers receive a rating from the testing agencies of the countries in which they are published or shown.
In this context, a fan emphasizes that A pending classification does not have to be a sign of a close reveal or release
That is officially known
We know that the publisher is planning at least something this year: As marketing vice president Pete Hines explained, Bethesda will reveal "a lot of exciting things about our games" in the coming months.
However, fans have to be patient with further information about Elder Scrolls 6. According to Hines come Information about Elder Scrolls 6 only after Starfield. Whether with it for new information about Starfield or even first after the release of Starfield what is meant remains open.
At least this fact increases the chances that the planned information could be Starfield.
It's after Starfield, which you pretty much know nothing about. So if you're coming at me for details now and not years from now, I'm failing to properly manage your expectations.

Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 both have no release date yet. Almost nothing is known about the state of development. Starfield is the first new Bethesda brand in 25 years.
Why this could be a problem is explained by our Plus editor Peter Bathge in his column: There he proposes that the success of Skyrim Bethesda could have hurt.
