Nintendo has closed its service repair centers in the United States.
The company announced the closure today to prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.
"In accordance with federal and local guidelines, our repair centers will be closed until further notice," the notice reads. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
"Once the repair service is resumed, we will serve you as soon as possible."
During the closing process, if you send mail through the Nintendo system, the package may not be delivered and returned.
Also, if you have sent the device for repair, it will remain in the store until the center reopens. This means that it may take some time for you to access the console again.
If you are concerned that the warranty period will expire during the shutdown period, Nintendo has stated that it will be satisfied when the repair center will be closed.
