Valve is ready to talk about its plans to restart Artifact.
ArtifactValve's failed card game, after the developer released an update, announced that the game had not been abandoned, and actually had plans to revive it, resurrected from the dead.
This week Valve outlined some of the biggest changes in his blog post. First, players will no longer be able to purchase cards, which was one of the biggest points of contention at the time of initial release. Valve will sell something, But did not say what it was.
This is part of Valve's plan to make Artifact easy to use, and it also includes a new Hero Draft mode that lets you create decks and experiment with it to get rid of the pressure of multiplayer games.
Valve has also made other gameplay changes, such as narrowing the perspective further to show all three channels simultaneously. Although this doesn't affect card performance, they still occupy a channel in most cases, but developers say this should make it easier to track everything.
All of these features will be available in Beta, which will start with a limited number of players. Valve will prioritize the owners of existing games and continue to expand the game pool until the final public Beta release.
In addition, the Beta version has its own EXE file, which is separate from the current real-time game. Go to the link near the top for more information.
