Capcom is apparently working on a new part of the Resident Evil: Revelation series. Above all, a platform should be the focus.
The ransomeware attack on Capcom earlier this month revealed more and more details. As we previously reported, the attack revealed a lot of confidential information from the developer to the public, including the release dates of previously announced titles, cash flows between Capcom and console manufacturers, and previously completely unknown games.
One of these projects is Resident Evil: Outrage, which according to a ResetEra user will be a new part of the Revelations sub-series. The well-known insider Dusk Golem refers to information leaked to him. Interestingly, Resident Evil: Revelations 3 is said to be developed with a focus on the Switch. However, it should not be an exclusive title. So the game may appear exclusively for Nintendo’s console.
This is not surprising insofar as the series debuted on the 3DS and was only later ported to stationary consoles and finally continued there. The first two parts are now available in the Switch eShop. Dusk Golem indicates that Outrage does not necessarily have to be called Revelations 3, but that it is conceptually designed as part of the series through and through.
