The Witcher III has sold over 28 million copies
It is no secret that The Witcher series starring Henry Cavill has served to increase sales of both the original books and the Warlock's latest video game. In total, The Witcher 3 has harvested more than 28 million units sold if we pay attention to the figures that the CD Projekt tax report.
As Twitter user DarkDetectiveNL tells us, The Witcher 3 has sold about 28.3 million units, which are distributed between Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in the first 3 years of the game's life, while in 2019 its version for Nintendo Switch was released.
The Witcher 3 has sold just over 12 million units on PC, 10 million on PlayStation 4, 4 million on Xbox One, and nearly one million units (700,000) on Nintendo Switch.

The future of CD Projekt is marked with the release of Cyberpunk 2077, which remains in September this year. As for what lies ahead of the Polish studio, for now we know that they will continue working on The Witcher.
