Ubisoft lets you play the action title Ghost Recon Breakpoint temporarily for free – and also entices you with a new cross-over event with the successful title Rainbow Six: Siege.
With “Operation Amber Sky” Ubisoft today announced a new live event in the action game Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This is a cross-over with the in-house successful brand Rainbow Six: Siege, after all, you will be able to fight alongside the Rainbow Six team members in new story missions.
Specifically, there are nine free missions. What’s the matter? The Ghosts learn that Sentinel produces a toxic gas called Amber Ruin in Auroa and sells it around the world. Together with an infiltrated team from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, you have to stop production and find an antidote. To do this, you must complete a variety of objectives and venture into the contaminated areas in order to survive. After completing the event missions, you will unlock eleven unique rewards, including brand new weapons and full Rainbow Six Siege skins.
The event also has the following to offer:
New team members: After completing the first mission of the live event, you can use the opera tors Ash, Finka and Thatcher anywhere in the game and at any time via the menu as an alternative to the regular team members. Their looks, weapons, and unique skills are modeled on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege.
More than 120 new customization items: Items include full Operator skins and more.
The cross-over event is scheduled to start on January 21, 2021. On the same day – limited to January 24, 2021 – there will also be a Free Weekend, on which you can play Ghost Recon Breakpoint completely free of charge.
