Every month, Steam unveils the most successful newcomers released on the platform. The corresponding blog entry for February 2020 appeared recently. Steam measures the success of the generated revenue two weeks after publication.
Unsurprisingly, there are big games among them that have also appeared in the Steam charts of the past few weeks – for example Metro: Exodus and Wolcen.
But there are also surprises:
The one-man project Taur also made it into the most successful releases. We will tell you in the test whether Taur is changing the entire tower defense genre.
Steam is happy about Early Access
According to the blog entry Almost half of all games in February either left Early Access or were published in Early Access. Steam sees this as a sign that the system launched seven years ago has proven itself.
