Those who keep up with Total War: Warhammer II, released in 2017, are currently still being supplied with fresh content. The last Commander DLC should now be released in July.
With “The Silence & The Fury” the last DLC for Total War: Warhammer II was announced today – years after the original release for the PC. This is the final commanders package, which should be available from July 14, 2021 and takes up the biting argument between Taurox from the Beastmen and Oyxotl from the Lizardmen.
As it should be for a commanders package, Taurox and Oxyotl themselves are included as such. As leaders of their respective factions, they bring new characters, units, gameplay mechanics and objectives with them.
The new units mentioned strengthen the ranks of the beastmen and the lizardmen. These include the bizarre Grinderlak, an amalgamation of several monsters, or the multi-limbed Ghorgor and the wild double-tailed Troglodon.
Free content also makes it back in the game to match the DLC. Here you can expect, among other things, a new legendary commander for the dwarves, an additional hero for the beastmen and some brutal mercenaries who can be recruited in the game. There are also old-world updates for the factions of the beastmen and dwarves, both of which are sometimes dramatic and give the campaigns a new feel.
