A new title has been announced and confirmed for this year on Nintendo Switch. Is about Hindsight 20/20: Wrath of the Raakshasa, which will be launched in the second quarter of 2021.
We leave you the Press release and the trailer shared by those responsible:
Champaner’s kingdom cherishes life above all else, preferring to practice pacifism rather than take up arms. When a virus begins to transform residents into bloodthirsty beasts known as Raakshasas and a destructive rift fills the sky, those sacred values are quickly brought into question. Jehan, a mysterious one-armed man, unknowingly holds Champaner’s fate in the palm of his hand.
In mourning the loss of his recently murdered father, Jehan finds himself torn between the pacifism he was taught to worship and the need for revenge. Choose between Merciful or Merciless combat styles, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Strategically stun enemies to earn the respect of the people or eradicate enemies quickly with a deadly sword. Each enemy and boss has different sets of moves and behaviors depending on the chosen style.
Decisions in Hindsight 20/20: Wrath of the Raakshasa have lasting repercussions, impacting the game and providing branching story paths. Decisions may seem obvious through dialogue or fighting methods, but fate may hold something completely unexpected for Jehan. Sometimes even travel time can make a difference. If you move too slowly or get distracted helping the townspeople, Jehan may not be there in time to save the day.
Fight against humans and monsters with pious or ruthless means to save the kingdom. Gain new abilities for both combat styles, stunning scores of enemies or causing jagged swords to sprout from the ground. Forge Jehan’s personal path in a fantasy world filled with magic and technology, rendered in a tragically beautiful watercolor style. Cope with social pressure to remain vigilant or descend into insanity.
