Koei Tecmo officially confirms that Fairy Tail is delayed until July 30 in Japan – iGamesNews

Just yesterday we informed you that in the last issue of Famitsu magazine had shared that Fairy Tail, the next game of Gust, those responsible for Atelier, however, had been listed for next July 30, since its estimated launch was for the end of next June, so it would suffer another delay.

Of course, at that time we didn't have a official confirmation by Koei Tecmo and therefore we could not take the delay for granted, as it could well be a mistake on the part of the Japanese magazine.

Well, we have bad news about it and that is that Koei Tecmo has announced a delay for Fairy Tail on Nintendo Switch and Steam in Japan. The game, which was scheduled for release on June 25, 2020, has been officially postponed until July 30. No reason for this delay has been shared at the moment, but the development-related coronavirus outbreak could be a key factor.
