Yesterday we were able to know the announcement of the new update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which will be released in a few hours. Among the novelties, a screenshot was shown that showed us a neighbor’s house that does not currently exist in the game, which sparked rumors and speculation about the arrival of new neighbors.
Well, now Nintendo Japan has ruled on this issue, stating that it is a mistake. On the company’s official Japanese website, you can read a couple of messages where it says that the house does not exist in the game and apologizes for showing it.
This is what can be read at the top of the page:
Updated April 27: Since the screenshot featuring the “Children’s Day” items was found to reflect a house with an appearance that could not appear in the actual game, the corresponding screenshot was replaced. Our sincere apologies.
We can also read this next to the new screenshot that shows us these objects (the image above):
Update: The screenshot shown at the time of publication reflected a appearance that cannot appear in the actual game, so the catch has been replaced. Our sincere apologies.
What do you think? Quite disappointing, don’t you think?
