Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is an adventure and simulation title that was released yesterday on the Switch eShop. We remind you that this game focuses on natural disasters that occur in the city where you live and in which you will have to do everything possible to survive and help other people. We must assess each dangerous situation and make decisions that affect our own safety, as well as that of others. Will you choose to be understanding and charitable, or to take care of yourself alone?
This title certainly has its action moments, but it's not a total action title all the time. In an interview with NISA associate producer, Alan Costa
These were his statements:
There are never times in the game when you sit down to read. But it is also not a traditional action game as most people think. If anything, I think it's more like Quantic Dream-style games; you move in a 3D space where the modeling is very realistic, but you don't blow up zombies or things like that. It is very much based on reality, on the choices you make and the situations they lead to. You will always be on the go, and there will always be action around you, but it is not an action game.
We remind you of his description and his launch trailer:
July 201X. The harsh sunlight, the scorching asphalt. The buildings continue to collapse under their own weight one after another. Immediately after the earthquake, the city is full of danger and people panic.
The protagonist of the game (who can be selected as a man or a woman), who came to town to find a job just before the earthquake hit the town, is now alone and unfamiliar with the area. Roam the city to survive while aftershocks continue. Cooperating and confronting other people, the protagonist collects information to escape from the collapsing city.
