In the past Mushkin was one of the leading manufacturers of warehousing products, but after being close to extinction today he is almost a collective producer. In an effort to resolve that, the company has been at CES to launch its new product list:
Mushkin EON and EON Pro, high performance NVMe SSD
We start talking to the highest performance products. These are EONs and EON Pro SSDs, which have an M.2 format, protocol NVMe< /strong> and the interface PCI-Express 4.0 x4
For the company, EON reaches 4 GB / s read speed and 3 GB / s write, while EON Pro reaches 6.5 GB / s for reading and 3.9 GB / s, for writing up to 700K OPS literacy.
On the other hand, Muskin has shown with SATA 3 SSDs Source Q, with the same SM2259XT controller that their central SSDs use so far. It offers up to 560 MB / s read speeds and 515 MB / s of writing, and will only be available with capacity between 500 GB and 2 TB. It's quite clear that Muskin is prioritizing their NVMe SSDs, but he doesn't want to leave the cheapest models for sale.
CarbonX, an external USB SSD of over 1000 MB / s
Switching to external storage, the company showed up with it SSD connecting via USB-C CarbonX, capable of up to 1020 MB / s of readability and 1000 MB / s of writing through its USB 3.1 Gen.2 interface. It goes into a black metal case and will be sold in capacities from 500 GB to 2 TB.
Dark memories get to lift the face
We just finished presenting Mushkin with his famous memories of Blackline now becoming Blackline RGB. This obvious change of name brings with it a face-lift in the form of RGB lights, with seven lighting fixtures and a curiosity about whether, despite their name, they have changed the color of the PCB from black to green (something that is already rare these days). These DDR4 memories will be available in capacities between 8 and 32 GB each module speeds between 3000 and 4000 MHz base, with latitude CL16-18.
Of course, the manufacturer has not provided details about release dates or prices, so we'll have to wait to reveal these unknowns.
