The first item known as «Bendgate»They replaced the iPhone 6, as it turned out they bend easily, especially when there is a pocket terminal because when people sat down, they were put under some pressure and ended up bent. On the iPhone 7, Apple solved that problem by improving the structural integrity, but with the first-generation iPad Pro it also had the Bendgate 2.0, since it was also easily bundled (a lot, actually).
It is a double IPad Pro 2020 and Apple is ignoring it
Now that's new IPad Pro 2020 recently introduced, it has also been found that the device bends easily
In addition, this new version of the iPad Pro (which is the second generation), only "improves" the cameras and much less, and in fact not only bends into a wider area but also to the smaller one, as can be seen in the pictures.
According to Apple this is not a problem in design for that device: nobody should keep an iPad Pro in their pocket (for some reason, because its size doesn't work) so it shouldn't be folded. The problem is that when you carry it in a bag something similar happens, the app eventually sinks as soon as it is under a certain pressure.
There are already plenty of videos by analysts testing the device's resistance, and in all cases they have determined that most of the iPad Pro 2020's structural integrity rests on its screen and not on the metal frame, which should be tightened but not useless. This also means that when the iPad Pro 2020 is in a folder, the screen tends to crack and drop the glass slides
What worries us like this is that the dual-issue iPad Pro problem was discovered in the first generation and company did nothing to fix it in this second generation, unlike what they did then with the original Bandgate.
What can you do if your iPad Pro 2020 is wrapped?
Suppose you used 879 euros for the 11-inch Pro Pro, or 1,099 euros for the 12.9-inch version, and shortly after using it you can see that the device has started to bend slightly. Is there anything you can do?
Unfortunately, according to Apple this is a problem that comes from misusing the app, so the warranty is not covered unless you have a contract Apple care. This means that when it does bend, there is nothing you can do or want, and even Apple Care can tell you that the device is working properly and they are not changing it to new.
So, if you spend money on these expensive machines, it seems that Apple wants you to never take them out of your house and keep them in one place so they don't bend.
