We finally have a new (final?) Look at Zack Snyder’s Justice League before the Director’s Cut hits HBO Max next month. HBO Max and WarnerMedia released the first full trailer of the Snyder Cut on Sunday, which is filled with fighting, dark music and Darkseid.
As expected, the trailer has new footage that was not included in the original cut of Justice League. That means most of the highlights come from the Justice League heroes, who take on Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid, the movie’s ultimate villain (who wasn’t actually featured in the theatrical release).
There’s even a first look at Jared Leto’s Joker in the movie, a new take that Snyder teased last week.
While the trailer gives us a lot of quick cuts and battle scenes, it doesn’t reveal much about the plot itself. Since this cut is supposedly twice the size of the original, there are sure to be a lot of storylines and plot points that the original didn’t – again, those full story of Darkseid. So it shouldn’t come as a shock that Snyder is keeping his conspiracy under wraps for as long as possible.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is expected to be released exclusively on HBO Max on March 18.
