in the Bungie’s first blog post of the yearthe studio went back a lot Fate 2‘s gun and armor sunset from late last year. Starting in February, players can purchase old armor and weapons in the dream city as well as on the moon.
Eight weapons and two armor sets will return from season 13, which, according to the game’s countdown clock, will start on February 9th Abandoned and Shadow Guardian. Players who already own these weapons or armor must earn them again in their unlimited form.
- Wake-up call, insomnia, Vouchsafe and retold story from the dream city
- Heretics, blasphemers and apostates from the moon
- The Premonition will also be on the moon, but exclusively in the Dungeon Pit of Heresy
- The armor of the Reverie Dawn from the dream city
- The Dreambane armor from the dream city
According to Bungie’s blog post, it sounds like players can get never-before-seen roles of these weapons from their respective dungeons – Shattered Throne in the Dream City and Pit of Heresy on the Moon. The armor pieces also fall out of the dungeons with very high values.
Bungie ended this section of his blog post by saying that not every weapon will return to the loot pool from older targets like this one. But with these remakes, players should have more reasons to spend time on the moon or in the dream city. This announcement comes after some major frustrations caused by the Destiny communityBeyond the light
When Destiny 2: Beyond Light Bungie launched last November and implemented its infusion closure system. Players could no longer infuse weapons that were more than a year old. Infusion is a process of delivering a high powered weapon to a low powered weapon, thereby making the low powered weapon gain strength. For activities that required high skill levels, like the Raid Trials of Osiris or Nightfalls, these older weapons became practically useless.
Almost all weapons from the Abandoned and Shadow Guardian An infusion cap was introduced in the extensions in November, although both extensions are still for sale. This created a point of frustration where new players have no loot incentives to play through these expansions, which means they could only spend their money to get a handful of exotic quests rather than legendary loot.
fate 2Game master Luke Smith recently told Polygon that the studio is looking at ways to enhance the sunset. While the studio still deems it necessary, it is causing some vulnerabilities and unexpected behavior in the community. Bungie will repeat sunset all year round.
