In September last year, WarnerMedia closed a major deal with producer-writer-director J.J. Abrams and his company Bad Robot produce television shows, movies, and more in conglomerate. With WarnerMedia & # 39; s Netflix HBO Max on the maximum, the agreement was a coup, to ensure that Abrams, who is not known for restarting IP, can both compile original content and take on larger streaming service properties. Now we get a first taste of that thing.

HBO Max today announced on Thursday that Abrams and Katie McGrath & # 39; s Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television group television will produce a series of three videos, one of which is from the DC Comics library.

The first is the first, called Duster, written by J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan (Walking Dead). According to a news release, the series is set in the 1970s Southwest, and traces the life of a "gutsy getaway crime scene driver (that) goes from bad to worse, foolishly, and worse."

The second series, Watching, "a series of horror thrillers inspired and embedded with iconic characters of Stephen King's magnificent art Light. ”The exhibition will explore" the illegitimate, scary stories of a well-known American hotel, "which sounds like an anthology for doing so. This marks Abram's second collaboration with Stephen King after Hulu Red Rock

.

The third is a large collection of DC Entertainment product. The new series will focus on DC characters in the "Justice League Dark" Universe, a group that includes John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan, a demon trapped in a medieval knight. Everyone from Doug Liman to Guillermo del Toro appeared to be in line with the movie's transformation over the years, but it will now be followed under Abram's direction. WarnerMedia expects more details to be revealed soon.
