Capcom gave a somewhat strange update for Resident Evil Village today on the E3 2021.
Resident Evil Village gets DLC, but Capcom said it had just started work on it “by popular demand” and just teased, “More information later.”
Not really. That’s it. That’s all the information we have Resident Evil Village DLC. A game that came out a month ago and is one of Capcom’s biggest franchises just started working on the DLC because they didn’t know people would like the game that much, I guess?
But hey Turning back-the resident Evil Online game that is included Villages that Capcom promised – coming next month. Courting.

Resident Evil Village released May 7th for PC, Stadia, next-gen, and last-gen consoles. The horror game continued the story of Ethan Winters and took off after the events Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. It’s the eighth part of the resident Evil Franchise that was more known for the clumsy styling of the title than the actual naming Resident Evil 8.
Village was a big hit even before it came out for a large Reason (that’s the only one I’ll do, I promise). When Lady Dimitrescu was revealed, the fans were obsessed – and I mean obsessed – asking to be trampled on by the Tall Woman, sat on and everything else. But Lady Dimitrescu turned out to be just one of the characters Resident Evil Village scared us. We were also pampered with Donna Benevientos Doll house of horror, Heisenberg’s Factory from Hell, and The Duke, who alone is sketchy enough.
But somehow it is Village was still full of jokes and bellicose slasher movie antics for Ethan’s poor hands. It was the clear highlight of this spring’s gaming franchise, cemented further when Sony announced it would dominate the PlayStation charts for the month of May.
Already before Village came out, people were looking for more and immediately started modifying the demos, despite their limited availability windows. Of course, there are even more chaotic mods now – you can swap the heads of Baby Rose and boulder puncher Chris Redfield, swing a fly swatter, switch outfitters, and switch on Lady Dimitrescu godforsaken Thomas the tank engine head. as well as a lot of speculation after the end of the game. All in all, Capcom’s E3 announcement comes at a good time. And considering how much Kotaku Employee couldn’t stop talking about it when it came out, you can be sure that we will walk through the village one more time.
