I'll be up here and say I've never really enjoyed so many characters in it Fire Cone: Three houses. As such, my hopes for the fourth secret house presented in the first expansion of the game, Integrated Shadows, they were not too high. But after taking a few hours to finish its single storyline, I was surprised to find that I finally made some money off of it Three housesSoldiers & # 39; s turned into schools.
Integrated Shadows it opens with a seemingly random group of Garreg Mach students – a main character, three house leaders, and one tag from each class – chasing a suspicious person into a mysterious cave. They soon find themselves in the Abyss, a large, underground monastery under the monastery that serves as their academy. Why did no one talk about this place during a big game that was soon forgotten as they encountered a ragtag crowd of gremlins called Ashen Wolves. When war begins, enemies who are thought to be friends suddenly become friends, and that description is shared.
Abyss is defined as a place of unwanted people: the elderly, the sick, the people who have non-physical problems. Yes, that's it Integrated Shadows
The leader of these raccoon children is a man named Yuri, handsome and disguised and wearing a purple eyehadow. He is joined by Hapi, a knight who refers everyone to the beautiful animal name; Balthus, an attacker who calls himself King of Explosion without worrying too much about the body hitting someone; and Constance, the ever-changing Pegasus rider of his feelings and place.
They both have their own reasons for staying in the abyss, all of which read at six o'clock Integrated Shadows adventure. None of them are much more interesting, but the quirks of their personality more than make up for any omission in their backdrops or baseless ways in which they are presented.
The Ashen Wolves introduce four new character classes to it Three housesA lifting tree that already works. The Yuri & # 39; s Trickster category is a Jack of all salesmen who has the ability to use swords and magic but without much work on it. Constance & # 39; s Black Fell is about driving a magical race. Balthus, representing the new role of War Monk, is so powerful that he often resolves to fight with fists before the enemy has a chance to counter the attack. The Walk & # 39; s Valkyrie effectively controls the battlefield with black magic and error.
Every new character feels adaptable in ways that make the original cast better, and I often found myself struggling in the battle with the available Ashen Wolves. That said, it was pure fun to play around with a few characters that I wasn't able to hire during my main game play as a Golden Deer house professor.
After joining forces with the Ashen Wolves, the story of Integrated Shadows it's a good ride, laced with warts of whistles, ghosts, and hot leads with baby faces. Legends say that somewhere deep in the Abyss there is a magic coin that has the power to bring the dead back to life. Naturally, that MacGuffin becomes the ultimate goal until it is stolen by someone who thinks it is a tool to use magical culture.
Normal stuff, actually. Not much to catch my attention during battles without new details about the main character's mother. Integrated Shadows
The battles themselves are varied and very engaging. In addition to the usual format of "you are here, your enemy is here, go find them", Integrated Shadows it uses a chase sequence in a single combat encounter that made me soften my teeth on every mission. The final boss is a complete doozy that took me many attempts to find out right. I'm not leaving soldiers behind, dammit!
While some of the locations are reused from the main game, it was nice to see Three houses Engineers are trying to design and win requirements that completely dispel my well-laid plans. The festival that accompanies you throughout the campaign is limited in size and skill, which in some cases is a happy time to solve problems.
While the news is frivolous and hacked, Integrated Shadows additionally involving the country Three houses. The new classes provided additional layers of strategy in the basic military system, and I liked the ways in which each encounter shook the conventional ideas of Fire Cone to fight. Of course, I think the monsters, with their shields and regenerative lives, are bullshit, but this expansion used it in ways that made it very powerful and, at times, terrifying.
Integrated Shadows it's a clean little package full of amazing characters that I can wait to pass to the halls when I return to Garreg Mach. I've already booked tea time with Juri.
