The Call of Duty: Warzone fanbase has become increasingly frustrated recently by what is perceived as a near-constant battle with game-breaking bugs and glitches on top of an unbalanced meta. The frustration has culminated in Call of Duty: Warzone fans building a movement “#FixWarzone“.
Call of Duty: Warzone has been struggling with a multitude of bugs lately, with a new bug highlighting players returning from the Gulag as one of the more recent examples. This more recent bug adds to the player’s frustration at the repeated presence of an infinite pacing bug, the removal of attack helicopters just after they were added back after an absence of months, and the balance of weapons left behind. to the FFAR and AUG severely unfair despite the game’s recent weapon update.
The call to action was initiated by Reddit user SindraGan2001. In a rather passionate post to the Call of Duty: Warzone community, they asked the fanbase to come together in an attempt to force the game’s publisher, Activision, to address their considerable list of complaints. The move asks players to change their in-game clan tag to “FIXWZ”To show their frustration to the game developers on a statistical metric, as well as to spread the word to other players during matches.
The movement seems to be slowly beginning to build. With over 17,100 upvotes and over 1,500 comments as of this writing, players can expect to see much more. “FIXWZ
It’s hard to know how Activision will respond to the move, or if it will. Hopefully, fans get the changes they are asking for so the community can continue to grow and enjoy the game, especially since Activision has announced plans to keep Call of Duty: Warzone at the same time as the series’ annual releases. There’s a good chance that Activision will hear the move, at least in part, especially so that the bugs don’t overshadow the new Call of Duty: Warzone events and features.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S.
