Motion Twin reveals new Dead Cells DLC called “Fatal Falls”

The Boss January 13, 2021 No Comments

A month ago Motion Twin and Evil Empire reported that in January we would receive a second paid DLC for Dead Cells. Now the name has been revealed, release date and details of this DLC that, like Bad Seed, will cost five dollars and will add a couple of levels to the game.

This DLC, unlike other updates, does not include new weapons and balance adjustments, only two new locations that the studio and the same title call “biomes”. These represent alternative paths to other already known biomes. This way, Fractured Shrines will be an alternate path to Stilt Village or Clock Tower and The Undying Shores will be the alternate path to Slumbering Sanctuary and Forgotten Sepulcher.

As soon as you leave Fractured Shrines you will pass The Undying Shores that will force you to descend a cliff in the middle of a storm. Your character will enter some caverns and then you will meet the undead healers. Also, at the end of the road you will find a small new area called “the Mausoleum”, which is the home of a normally quiet gardener who this time will be the final boss for the DLC.

The DLC will be ready for download on January 26 and that same day there will be a pack called “complete the set” in which we can buy Dead Cells and its two DLCs together to save 15% for buying everything together.

Dead Cells está disponible en PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Android, iOS y PC.
