What we waited for so long finally happened. ‘Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train’ will arrive exclusively in Latin America, through the streaming service Funimation.
The film that accumulated more than $ 470 million dollars and that also became the highest grossing of 2020, will finally be available in the comfort of our home from August 13.
Although its arrival in Latin America, which includes countries such as Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil and Peru, is more than enough to please fans, Funimation has an ace up its sleeve and that is that the film will feature both subtitles and dubbing at Spanish and Portuguese.
‘Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train’ is a direct continuation of the first season of ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’, which shows us Tanjiro Kamado’s journey to save his sister from transforming into a demon.
After joining the organization of Demon Hunters and facing powerful creatures, in the film we will witness the first mission of the protagonist and his companions with the hashira of the flame, Kyojuro Rengoku.
Getting on a train where more than 40 people have disappeared and facing one of the 8 demonic moons will not be an easy task, so you must see how the hunters do it this August 13.
In production you will find Haruo Sotozaki, director of the first season of the series, in the same position, to adapt the manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge at the animation studio Ufotable.
The first edition of the anime is available on the violet service, which recently announced that it would feature the second season, ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen’, in 2021.
