What a joy it is to see Nina Struthers again! Like every year, Devolver Digital gave us a presentation of E3 2021 (which was not even officially related to E3) that hilariously satirizes the video game industry. On this occasion – in addition to showing games like Shadow Warrior 3, Death’s Door Y Trek to Yomi – focuses on monetization and subscription services by offering “monetization with service” in Devolver MaxPass +.
The entire “lecture” is worth a lookEspecially if they have followed the Nina Struthers saga over the years. If you are only interested in games, you can find everything they showed below.
What games were revealed at the Devolver Digital digital event?
Devolver Digital’s special presentation at E3 2021 (which wasn’t really from E3) began with a new gameplay trailer of Shadow Warrior 3. Sadly, they didn’t announce a release date. We only know that we will have it this year.
We saw a new trailer for Phantom Abyss, the ‘roguelike’ simulator Indiana Jones we already talked about here.
During the weekend of E3 2021 we took a first look at Trek to Yomi, a colorful 2D samurai game with monochrome graphics. It will be released in 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC
Wizard with a Gun is a multiplayer survival game in an open world with characters that remind us of I lived, of Final Fantasy IX. It will arrive in 2022 on Nintendo Switch and PC.
Inscryption, due out this year, is the new card game from the creator of Pony Island Y The Hex.
Release date of Death’s Door
If they can’t wait for Death’s DoorWe are pleased to report that Devolver Digital announced its release date at their event other than E3 2021. We will be playing it on July 20 this year on Xbox One, Series X | S, and PC.
We will also have a free game for cell phones. Devolver Tumble Time It will be a puzzle game with the characters from the company’s games. The trailer pokes fun at the cliches of mobile games.
Last we have Demon Throttle, a title from the creators of Gato Roboto that will only be released in physical format. It is a vertical ‘scroll’ shooter in the style of the NES classics that we will not find in any digital store.
Sadly, Devolver Digital’s presentation at E3 2021 did not reveal the expected release date of Loop Hero en Nintendo Switch.
